A Face with a Flower Growing Beneath Its Chin and Eyes Looking Out from Its Palms

The entire canvas is filled with a face, as though space is no longer necessary for existence.

A small butterfly rests upon the forehead, wrapped in white radiance like a quiet point of balance between the inner and the outer.

The gaze is saturated with colour, while from beneath the chin a dark-blue bud suddenly grows, unfolding pink petals along the line of the face, enveloping it and disappearing behind invisible ears.

Beneath the face, two palms unfold like separate centres of vision — wide-open eyes gaze out from them.

From the flower and from the chest, luminous strands rise upward toward the butterfly, stitching the face, the light, and the gaze into one continuous line of existence.
