The Creature with a Flower-Tail and an Adorned Hand, Enjoying the Sun
Above the creature hangs a fragment of the sun with a closed eye,
unfurling translucent rays that stretch to the edges
of the canvas and gradually disappear. Beneath this light, the beast
curls into a ball, as if gathering itself into one quiet point, and
places its hands, laden with rings and bracelets, under
its chin. Its long ear extends sideways, holding
a crescent moon within and ending in sharp, almost
branch-like elements. A small bow is tied at the tip of its tail,
from which a rich semi-bud sprouts—something between an ornament
and an embryo of movement. In this light, the creature does not act—it
slowly enjoys its own existence, dissolving into the almost disappearing rays.
