Butterfly-faced. Eyebloomed.
A butterfly unfolds directly across the face, covering the eyes and mouth just enough to make them more visible. Its translucent wings do not conceal the features - they transform the gaze into something suspended between body and light. The nose becomes its body, while two heavy drops beneath the chin hold the balance of this fragile silence.
The neck flows into a necklace, the necklace into a great wing that bears the entire weight of the creature. Below, the body inverts its own anatomy: a second head retains only a nose, as though preserving the memory of another possibility of being oneself. In its place, a bouquet blooms, each flower looking out through its own eye, while hands, thorns, and limbs do not grasp it, but gently form a living shell around it.
It is a portrait of a creature whose face has learned to bloom, and whose body has learned to see where once there was only a heart.
