Heart-Lock in a Splitting Body
The creature’s head is tilted to the right, and only one eye is wide open, gazing upward - as though it were the sole point still maintaining a connection with space. The other eye seems to have disappeared or been silenced from above, leaving behind a dense, layered surface of iridescent colours and traces of intervention.
A dark-blue droplet overgrown with red thorns has taken root in the hollow of the forehead, like a thought that has become pain.
One ear has shifted down toward the chin, heavy and drooping, while the other extends beyond the edge of the canvas, refusing to be seen.
The body disperses and loses its definition, yet in the right side of the chest, a heart remains - assembled from fragments fused into the shape of a lock, sharp yet fragile at once.
In this creature, disintegration does not destroy completely - it merely reveals what had been locked inside.
